When employed in the offshore industry, you find yourself in a world where safety is more important than anything else. Mandatory safety procedures are in place for all activities, and there is a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to respecting these.

Safety procedures for all activities are necessary and mandatory precautions, and there is a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to respecting these. Safety training is mandatory before you start your employment at sea.

Here is a list of the typical safety courses in the offshore industry.

The listed courses are basic requirements. Please be aware that your employer may require additional courses and training. For further information and guidance, please contact the education providers.

Health certification

It is important that you have a health certificate, – in some cases, you also need it to attend the safety courses. The certificate must be granted by an approved health care professional.
