ICS CENTER ESBJERG

From the end of 2022 and onwards, international applicants will have more options when it comes to submitting an application for a residence permit, having their biometrics recorded, or applying for a re-entry permit with SIRI, as new International Citizen Service (ICS) facilities will open in Esbjerg.

SIRI will move into the municipalities’ buildings and become part of a joint ICS centre, making services relevant to international applicants available in one place.

If you have international employees who are going to work in Esbjerg for a longer period of time, you need to apply here.

ICS ESBJERG MAKES ENTRY EASIER

The International Citizenship Service Centre (ICS Esbjerg) is run by the Agency for International Recruitment and Integration (SIRI), the Citizenship Service and the Job Centre. ICS Esbjerg can now handle all the paperwork when you arrive here as an international newcomer. SIRI will help you with your residence permit, and afterwards, the Citizens’ Service will help you with your CPR number, health insurance card and tax card. Finally, the Job Centre can offer, among other things, a job search course in English. This will make entry easier for the many international employees who come to companies in Esbjerg Municipality every year, and it will also make it easier for companies to recruit specialised labour from abroad.

NEWCOMER SERVICE HELPS MIGRATION TO ESBJERG

Our municipality also offers a newcomer service, which introduces new expats and international citizens who are going to live in Esbjerg for a long period to Esbjerg. Events and networking for our international community are also available through Esbjerg’s newcomer service.
