Mentorship Program

With a mentor, you get the opportunity to discuss the professional and personal challenges that arise when you are an entrepreneur. You receive targeted input to develop yourself and your business, and you get a space where there is time and room to reflect on your company's direction and strategy, as well as how to achieve your goals.

Our mentors vary widely in age, experience, and profession. What they all have in common is their willingness to bring knowledge and skills into play for the benefit of you and your company. Therefore, it is also important that you are clear about where and what you want to use your mentor for.
You can use a mentor for:
- 1:1 sparring sessions with a mentor
- Sparring sessions with a business developer from Business Esbjerg
- Get assigned an Advisory Board with several mentors
- Pitch and feedback
Tailored mentorship program
Your mentorship program will be composed according to your and your company's needs, so both content, duration, and choice of mentor depend on what your challenges consist of. You can therefore use our mentorship program in different ways.

About our mentor corps
Our mentors are experienced business leaders who have tried a bit of everything and have a solid foundation and knowledge within the business world in general and/or within a specific niche, industry, or professional group.
A mentor can give you concrete advice and guidance – and help solve some of the challenges you experience in your company. He or she also helps you keep focus on the areas that are important to solve precisely the issues you are facing right now.
Based on your challenges, we select a mentor who best matches your needs. You will thus be assigned a mentor who knows about exactly the things you have challenges with.
About mentor matching
- Mentor matching is free to use.
- The mentor does not take payment for their assistance to the company.
- During the mentorship period, the mentor may not invest in your company.
- You agree yourselves on how long the program lasts – a typical 1-1 program runs over 3-6 months.
To be matched with a mentor, you must answer a few questions via the form below.
Få en mentor - formularBasis for the collaboration
A good collaboration between mentor and company requires respect and discretion for each other. The mentor must act as support and inspiration in the work with the company. It is important that the company, at a minimum, has articulated its business challenge.
Agreements
The mentor and company independently agree on where and how often they meet. They also agree continuously on how and for how long the mentor should be attached, as well as which tasks should be the focus for the company during the program.
A mentorship program usually lasts 3-6 months, but it can certainly last longer.
