Riggen’s business start-up course equips you with the knowledge and tools needed to start your own business.
You will learn how to use practical tools to develop your business concept, along with gaining knowledge about legislation, finance, different business structures and key aspects of Danish business culture. You will also learn how to make the most of professional advisors and have the opportunity to network with fellow entrepreneurs participating in the course. We make sure there is plenty of time for questions and group work.
The course is designed to leave you with a concrete miniture business plan that provides a clear direction once course is completed.
Price for the course is DKK 600 incl. sandwich and beverages.
Target Group
This course is for anyone who has recently started their own business or has a business idea they would like to develop further.
Practical Information
The course consists of five sessions and takes place on Wednesdays from 5:00 PM to 8:00 or 8:30 PM (except Thursday 29.10.26):
- Session 1 – 29/10 - 2026 kl. 17:00 – 20:30
- Session 2 – 04/11 - 2026 kl. 17:00 – 20:00
- Session 3 – 11/11 - 2026 kl. 17:00 – 20:30

Course Wrap-Up
As an end to the course, you will be offered a 30-minute feedback session with one of our entrepreneurship consultants. Appointments can be booked between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Date to be confirmed.
Instructors
The course has been developed by Riggen and is delivered in collaboration with Syddansk Erhvervsakademi and advisors from our network.
Rikke Tangaa, who works as a lecturer at SEA, teaches sessions 1, 3, and 4.
Rikke has extensive experience in business development, behavioural design, and change management, and she is passionate about helping entrepreneurs turn ideas into action. During this course, she will introduce simple and effective tools for developing and presenting a business concept, enabling you to confidently engage with customers and business partners.
Session 2 is delivered by Casper Mogensen from Penta Advokater. Topics include company structures, marketing law, intellectual property + patent rights and GDPR. Time will be allocated for questions and discussion.
In session 5 you will meet Mads Christensen, BDO. He will introduce you to financial management and accounting. You will also learn about the Danish tax- and VAT systems, bookkeeping, budgeting and cash flow management.
