Foodtruckers is the New Business Name of the Year 2023

Foodtruckers won the award as the New Business Name of the Year 2023 after an SMS vote among the 900 guests at Business Esbjerg's New Year's Reception.
At the New Year's Reception in the Musikhuset on January 18, guests voted for the three nominees for 'New Business Name of the Year'. The nominees were Cafeu, Foodtruckers, and Surisuri. Foodtruckers took the prize after a close SMS vote among the guests at the New Year's Reception.
Foodtruckers was nominated with the following reasoning:
That we in Esbjerg have – probably – Denmark's largest producer of food trucks is impressive in itself.
You feel proud when you see food trucks gathered here in Esbjerg at festivals, in front of local cooperative stores, and in large marketing campaigns.
It all started in 2018, when a local entrepreneur bought a couple of used food trucks, refurbished them, and sold them on. However, the quality did not meet the company's high standards. They therefore started their own production and have not looked back since.
Today, the customer group is impressive and includes, among others, 7 of the international cycling teams, Claus Meyer, Joe & The Juice, Hatting, Riberhus, Mou Supper, and Cocio.
Food trucks are part of the future; stores must go out to the customers. The company has understood this and has significantly influenced this development. Therefore, it is an obvious candidate for New Business Name of the Year.
