For 20 years, the programmers at Vetech Software Solutions ApS have developed software for tomorrow's technology for a number of national and international companies. They call their latest software PLEET. An invaluable tool for manufacturing companies.
PLEET collects data on production stops, performs energy collection, gathers data on ESG and CO2 accounting, and makes it easy to implement 100% paperless production.
Since Johnny Hansen founded the company in 2004, the programmers at Vetech Software Solution ApS have developed tailor-made software solutions for SMEs that lack digital tools to get their machinery to communicate and to collect relevant data. They have specialized in developing software for data collection, data integration, and data presentation.
It sounds both extensive, advanced, and unattainable to develop tomorrow's technology in the form of tailor-made software for your company. This is a preconceived notion that director and digital toolmaker Johnny Hansen would like to refute:
"We call ourselves digital toolmakers because that is actually what we make. Tools for different purposes. For us, it's just data, and it doesn't have to be as extensive as it sounds. We often develop programs and apps for companies that need a stable and specialized solution, for example to get their machinery to communicate," says Johnny Hansen, co-owner of Vetech Software Solutions ApS.
"We have 20 years of experience in software development, and with our extensive library and experience behind us, we can often think outside the box and find the most flexible and effective solution to a problem."

Software for energy collection and CO2 accounting
Most of 2023, Vetech Software Solutions ApS spent developing entirely new and groundbreaking software for a system that collects data on energy consumption, registers production stops and their causes, keeps track of CO2 consumption for manufacturing companies, and makes it easy to implement paperless production (PFP). They call the new system PLEET.
PLEET is a system that meets growing environmental challenges and ambitious climate goals, where it is imperative that manufacturing companies can collect and register data on their electricity consumption and CO2 emissions down to the individual order, so electricity consumption and CO2 accounting can be documented to each customer. This is possible with the new software.

Vetech Software Solutions develops in collaboration with customers
To be able to develop special software that fits the individual company, Vetech always spends a good amount of time on-site at the companies. It is important to experience the conditions where the software will be used in order to specify needs and subsequently develop the optimal solution.
"We have 20 years of experience in software development, and with our extensive library and experience behind us, we can often think outside the box and find the most flexible and effective solution to a problem. So even though we create unique solutions for our customers, it doesn't have to cost an arm and a leg," concludes Johnny Hansen.
"We have noticed significant progress in our production since we installed PLEET. The time spent on production stops has been reduced to such an extent that it can be felt on the bottom line."
Satisfied customers
One of Vetech’s customers, ST PLAST A/S, has successfully used PLEET. Plant manager at ST PLAST, Claus Kvist, highlights among other things that PLEET has reduced production stop time and helped them become paperless in production:
"We have noticed significant progress in our production since we installed PLEET. The time spent on production stops has been reduced to such an extent that it can be felt on the bottom line, and with the PLEET PFP module, we have digitalized our production and removed all physical papers from production. Our everyday life has simply become much easier since we got PLEET," says Claus Kvist, Plant manager, ST PLAST A/S.
