In 1927, SLB was founded by 2 French brothers who invented Wireline logging, which is the technique to extract data from wells in connection with drilling for oil and gas. Today, SLB continues the development and builds the industry's longest tracking system to be able to deliver leading E&P technology, in order to develop new advances from the reservoir to the surface.
