Carl Ras is a Danish, family-owned wholesale company and one of the largest suppliers of tools, fittings and workwear for craftsmen, institutions and industry.
Since 1932, Carl Ras has expanded significantly and today the company has a total of 28 stores, nearly 450 dedicated employees and headquarters in Herlev.
Carl Ras has always worked to create a strong culture with a focus on high professionalism and the customer at the center.

This has been Carl Ras' motto since Carl Rasmussen opened his first store in 1932.
Carl Ras wants to be the preferred supplier and advisor for craftsmen. With an understanding of the tasks, and with the right products and unique service, they help develop their customers' businesses and the industry.

Carl Ras also consists of the companies 3 AKTIVE, which supplies tools and accessories to the construction and civil engineering industry, Engrosbeslag, which supplies fittings to the door and window industry, as well as Jydsk Værktøj, which sells tools and machines to the metal industry and construction sector.
Additionally, Carl Ras invested in the sustainable building market Havnens Hænder in 2021 and the recycling building market Genbyg in 2022, which are now all part of the Carl Ras family.

Carl Ras' passion for being the industry's best workplace is felt as soon as you step through the door. Therefore, Carl Ras was honored in 2024 as Denmark's best medium-sized workplace in the Great Place To Work® competition. In 2022 and 2023, the company achieved 2nd place in the competition.
