Esbjerg also offers a newcomer service, which introduces new expats and international citizens to Esbjerg.
International Citizen Service Center (ICS Esbjerg) is operated by the Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration (SIRI), Citizen Service, and the Job Center.
ICS Esbjerg can now handle all the necessary documentation when you arrive as an international newcomer. SIRI helps you with your residence permit, and then Citizen Service can assist you with your CPR number, health card, and tax card. Finally, the Job Center can offer, among other things, a job search course in English. This makes the arrival process easier for the many international employees who come to companies in Esbjerg Municipality every year – and it also makes it easier for companies to recruit specialized labor from abroad.
